The Chair of Constitutional Law is an organizational unit of the Faculty. The members of the chair teach predominantly first year students in two of the Faculty’s study programmes, Integrated undergraduate/graduate university Study of Law and Undergraduate Professional Study Programme in Administration Studies. In addition, the members of the chair hold a course on civil society and the law as a part of the Specialist Graduate Professional Study Programme in Public Administration and organize several elective courses within the Postgraduate Doctoral Study Programme.

In their scientific work, the members of the chair participate in the relevant international organizations, especially in the International Society for Public law, and thus try to involve the Faculty in relevant developments in constitutional law beyond the boundaries of the Republic of Croatia. In addition, the members of the chair are active in popularizing constitutional law, particularly its role in political controversies.

In their teaching, the members of the chair foster a participatory approach. Students are involved in teaching, in which different methods of teaching are regularly used. The members of the chair also make efforts to involve members of other faculties at the University in teaching and researching constitutional law, insofar as this furthers an interdisciplinary understanding of law.
