Since 2019, the University of Rijeka is a member of the YUFE Alliance (Alliance of Young Universities for the Future of Europe), a high-profile European university initiative that consists of ten young, research-driven universities and two non-academic partners aiming to reshape the European Higher Education Area. Within this framework, law faculties have developed a particularly strong cooperation. Each year the YUFE LAW conference and meeting is held, rotating among members. The 2022 YUFE LAW took place at the Faculty gathering more than 45 participants from partner institutions. The Faculty is also strongly involved in the YUFE Virtual Campus initiative, which provides students with an opportunity to create highly personalized curricula by studying in 10 partner universities at the same time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our professors are also actively participating in the working groups of YUFE law faculties, such as the doctoral working group, which explores ways to enhance collaboration in the field of doctoral programmes. We are particularly proud of our annual conference, RiDOC, held every December in Rijeka, where doctoral candidates from other universities present their papers, in which our YUFE LAW partners participate in large numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
