In the summer semester of the previous academic year, I had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ exchange, during which I stayed from February to June in the Spanish city of Vigo, at the Faculty of Legal and Labour Sciences (Facultade de Ciencias Xur\u00eddicas e do Traballo), University of Vigo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My stay in Spain was an extremely pleasant experience, primarily due to the similar lifestyle shared with the local population, which allowed me to adapt quickly to everyday life. During the exchange, I had the opportunity to meet students from different parts of Spain and Europe and to exchange experiences related to studying, culture, and the functioning of higher education systems in other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exchange experience represented a step outside my comfort zone, especially in terms of independently navigating a new academic and social environment. This experience proved valuable not only academically, but also as an opportunity for personal development and for gaining a broader perspective on studying, working, and living in a new and different environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The city of Vigo itself left a very positive impression on me. Located on the Atlantic coast and separated from the open sea by the C\u00edes Islands, its geographical position and numerous steep streets are reminiscent of Rijeka. Architecturally, it is very interesting, which is why many Spaniards refer to it as the \u201cMadrid of Galicia.\u201d The combination of the sea, long daylight hours, and a dynamic atmosphere makes it a pleasant place to live and study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although I had been considering going on an exchange for a long time, it turned out to be an experience that brought me many new insights and friendships, as well as numerous memories and stories that I will carry with me even after completing my studies. I warmly encourage all fellow students who are considering an exchange to take the leap and wholeheartedly embrace the unique opportunity to live and study in another country.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
