Book loans
 
Finding books for loan
Search the Library Catalogue for material that is available for loan.
Rules for loans to Faculty of Law University of the Rijeka (in Croatian).

Researcher book loans
The permanently employed researchers (faculty staff), part-time lecturers and PhD students (scientific/academic staff) may loan books from Faculty of Law Library.
They also may use the material on-site and may photocopy material.

Student book loans
Law students from the Faculty of Law University of the Rijeka, as well as students University of Rijeka may loan books. Remember to bring a valid student ID.
 
Loan period
4 weeks at a time (max. 2 books at a time) – with the possibility of one months renewals.  


Inter-library loan, in Croatia and abroad
The Library also uses interlibrary lending service to acquire needed library materials as one of the ways of obtaining literature that is not available in the Library. Interlibrary lending is realised with libraries in Croatia, primarily with the University Library in Rijeka and the National and University Library in Zagreb, but also with libraries abroad, primarily those at the faculties of law in Southeast Europe, and so on.

Copying and printing in the reading room of the Faculty Library
 
Copies/Scanning
Copy cards/print cards can be purchased at the Information desk in the reading room, see Price list (in croatian). 
Photocopiers are located in the reading room near the Information desk. The scan documents can be sent to an e-mail address as a PDF file.
The library's photocopiers may only be used to copy documents for private use according to the book of rules of photocopying. 
 
Visually impaired students
The University Counselling Centre has given the Library, as a constituent with the largest number of blind and visually impaired students, specialised equipment for students with visual impairments that was obtained through the Tempus project Education for Equal Opportunities at Croatian Universities, the aim of which is to ensure equal opportunities for students with disabilities in the Croatian higher education system. The equipment is located in the Library and it makes reading and using teaching materials easier to visually impaired and blind students.

IT facilities available to students
There are six computers available to students at the reading room in the Library.
Accessing the Faculty network / Wireless network - Laptops can be connected to the Faculty network via the wireless network or cables. If you have problems with the wireless network, it is possible to get help (ask at the Information Desk in the library).
For saving documents use a USB key.
