Prof. dr. sc. Ivana Kunda, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Denis Baghrizabehij from the University of Maribor, delivered an invited lecture entitled “AI and Courts in Central Europe: Croatia and Slovenia” at the conference Artificial Intelligence and Technologies in Courts, organized by the Law Institute of the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences on 22 October 2024, as part of the project “Artificial Intelligence in Courts: Challenges and Opportunities – TeismAI,” funded by the Research Council of Lithuania.
The conference discussion formed part of the activities of this large-scale collaboration, which brings together numerous scholars from 43 countries worldwide. The participants will publish their conclusions in a publication with the ambitious aim of providing a comparative legal analysis of the state of artificial intelligence use in courts.
