Department of Maritime and Transportation Law

Department members are dedicated to examining the private aspects of maritime and transport law, particularly focusing on carrier liability concerning the transportation of passengers and goods. Additionally, they address contemporary issues in marine environmental law, including liability for pollution from ships and seabed activities. Throughout their scientific research, Department members place special emphasis on the role and impact of international and European regulations on national law in all aspects of their work.
