The Science Festival will take place from 20 to 25 April 2026, and this year it is dedicated to the theme “Energy”.
The Faculty of Law in Rijeka is participating with two activities:
- PRAVRI workshop “Nuclear Energy: Salvation or Threat – Who Has the Right to Decide?”, led by Narda Krnetić Blečić, at the Eugen Kumičić Gymnasium in Opatija, April 24, 2026, 16:45–18:00
- PRAVRI mock courtroom “Plastic Justice”, led by Prof. Dr. Ivana Kunda, with collaborators Assoc. Prof. Dr. Danijela Vrbljanac, Luka Nalis, Ivan Babić, and student S. Glamočić, at the Children’s House, April 25, 2026, 10:00–13:00
The Science Festival takes place throughout the day at numerous locations in Rijeka—kindergartens and schools, the Benčić Art Quarter, the Astronomical Center, faculties, Korzo, museums, and other venues.
The aim of the Science Festival is to present science to children and young people in a simple, accessible, and engaging way, to spark their curiosity and interest in research, and to enable learning through experience, interaction, and fun. We would especially like to highlight the daily interactive demonstrations on Korzo, carried out by the organizers in cooperation with partners.
