As part of the Private International Law course, the fourth-year students had the exceptional opportunity on 7 May 2026 to spend three hours with the President of the Municipal Court in Pazin, mr. sc. Emanuel Radolović. He presented six cases from current judicial practice, which were jointly analysed by the students, the guest lecturer and the course instructor with the aim of identifying and discussing legal issues involving cross-border elements and finding appropriate solutions.
This form of teaching provides students with direct insight into the way courts approach complex factual situations and connects theoretical knowledge with its application in judicial practice. Cooperation with members of the judiciary through teaching activities, especially with alumni of the Faculty, represents an important component of the experience of both students and teaching staff, aimed at strengthening the connection between the academic community and judicial practice.
