On 28 October 2026, the Faculty of Law in Rijeka hosted a joint guest lecture by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Messaoud Saoudi and Prof. Dr. Lukasz Stankiewicz from Jean Moulin Lyon III University. The lecture, entitled “The status of Finance Acts in the French constitutional order in the light of comparative experience: a statute like no other?”, was held as part of the course Financial Law and Financial Science, for students of the Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate University Study Programme in Law.
During the lecture, the speakers explored the role of the Budget Act within the French constitutional order, with particular attention to its constitutional status and the specific features of the French public finance system.
The lecture provided students with an opportunity to gain insight into the French constitutional and budgetary framework and to broaden their understanding of comparative aspects of financial law.
