Department of Criminal Law

Within their teaching and scientific research endeavors, members of the Department concentrate on subjects within the realm of criminal substantive law. Their scholarly pursuits extend to exploring diverse issues within associated disciplines, including criminology, forensic psychopathology, penology, victimology, juvenile criminal law, and international criminal law. Notably, their work advocates for the recognition and safeguarding of the rights of individuals facing mental health challenges and protection of vulnerable groups. Department members strive to enhance the legal standing and empowerment of these individuals within Croatian society.
