The Department is committed to both teaching and researching legal language in English and German. Its members have extensively published in interdisciplinary areas concerning legal terminology and legal translation in both languages. Moreover, they have served as principal researchers in two national projects aimed at translating European Union legislation and developing Croatian terminology for European Union legal concepts. Their focus remains on European Union legal translation and terminology.
