The Institute for democracy, social justice and sustainable development of #pravri invites all interested in artificial intelligence to attend the conference “Demystification of artificial intelligence: the intersection of technology, philosophy, and law”. The working languages of the conference are Croatian and Italian. Simultaneous translation will be provided for all attendees.
The Conference is designed to help disseminate a legal perspective on its subject matter to the broader public. To do so, it will intertwine the findings of law, philosophy, and engineering.
Our speakers will be scholars from the University of Rijeka, University of La Sapienza from Rome and the Roma Tre University. We highlight the following three presenters in particular:
- Dr. Franko Hržić (Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka), whose presentation is titled “Is your face a human face?”,
- Prof. Salvatore Orlando (University of La Sapienza, Rome), with a presentation titled “Totems and taboos of artificial intelligence”,
- Prof. Teresa Numerico (Roma Tre University) will present on “Artificial intelligence as collective magic”.
