SEELS
South East European Law Schools Network (SEELS) - a network of faculties of law in southeast Europe. The SEELS network was established in 2011 with the aim of improving international cooperation of faculties of law in the area of the so-called southeast Europe, as well as their research, technical, and administrative potential; it is committed to increasing the international competitiveness and recognisability of these faculties in terms of their quality in legal education and scientific and publishing activities, and it is committed to providing support to the strategic development of these institutions. |
Erasmus+
The Erasmus programme was launched in June 1987 and in 2007 celebrated its 20th anniversary. It is one of the best-known Community actions and addresses the teaching and learning needs of all those in formal higher education and vocational education, as well as training at the tertiary level. It supports the achievement of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and reinforces the contribution of higher education and advanced vocational education to the process of innovation.

Requirements for Incoming Students
Students from European universities that have signed the Erasmus Bilateral Agreement with the University of Rijeka may spend one or two semesters studying at our University.
Please note that incoming Erasmus students should be officially nominated by their home Erasmus coordinator. After being nominated for Erasmus exchange, Erasmus students should send the Application Form and all relevant documents to the International Relations Office of the University of Rijeka (see University instructions under Incoming Erasmus Students).
Application deadlines:
10th June for the winter semester/whole academic year
10th November for the summer semester
Academic calendar:
1st semester (winter): beginning of October – end of January
2nd semester (summer): beginning of March – end of June

Dear incoming students, the list of courses for the academic year 2017/2018, both winter and summer semester, will be published during September. Please use the last year's course lists for reference. If there should be any changes needed in your Learning Agreements you will be able to do so once you arrive within section 'During mobility' of your learning Agreement.

International Affairs
The main goal of international cooperation is the recognisability of the Faculty and its positioning at both the national and international level for the purpose of improving research and teaching activities of the Faculty and presenting accomplishments achieved so far. With the aim of achieving the set goals, the Faculty encourages intensive involvement of its lecturers and teaching assistants in various forms of national and international activities, primarily those related to teaching and research. This is especially carried out through cooperation in teaching, research, conferences, and the like.
