At the University of Criminal Investigation and Public Security in Zagreb, a working meeting of representatives of the Faculty of Law in Rijeka and the University of Criminal Investigation and Public Security was held on 31 March 2026, during which a cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and scientific research was signed.
On behalf of the University of Criminal Investigation and Public Security, the meeting was attended by Dean Associate Professor Ante Orlović, PhD, Vice-Dean for Science, Quality and International Cooperation Full Professor Željko Karas, PhD, and Vice-Dean for Professional and University Studies Hrvoje Filipović, PhD. Representing the Faculty of Law in Rijeka were Dean Full Professor Dario Đerđa, PhD, Vice-Dean for University Studies Full Professor Igor Martinović, PhD, and Assistant Professor Iva Parenta, PhD, from the Chair of Criminal Procedure Law.
The cooperation will be implemented through the exchange of professional and scientific knowledge, with the aim of enhancing the quality of teaching, research activities, and the broader societal contribution of higher education.
This agreement continues and further strengthens the already successful cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
