The Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor is organising the international BIP Summer School “EU Energy Law: Internal Market and Competition Regulation and Sustainable Development” within the framework of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP).
The programme brings together students from various European countries and provides an opportunity for an in-depth study of current issues in European energy law, the functioning of the internal energy market, competition law, and the legal aspects of sustainable development and the green transition. The courses are taught by distinguished professors and experts in the fields of energy law and European Union law. The programme combines virtual and on-site activities and promotes international cooperation and the exchange of experiences among students.
The programme is conducted in English and is intended for law students who wish to deepen their knowledge of European Union law, energy law, and market regulation. It is particularly recommended for students in the later stages of their studies who have an interest in European, business, and regulatory law.
The virtual component of the programme will take place from 1 to 3 September 2026, while the on-site component will be held in Maribor from 7 to 11 September 2026. The programme is organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor, and participants will be awarded 3 ECTS credits upon successful completion.
