An engaging international lecture titled “Discover the Charms of China: Culture, Etiquette, and the Basics of the Chinese Language” was held at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka on May 25th, 2026, offering students a unique opportunity to learn about China’s rich cultural heritage, everyday customs, and fundamental aspects of communication in the Chinese language.
The lecture was delivered by Sun Mengtong, a lecturer from the International Exchange Center of Cangzhou Normal University, who introduced various aspects of Chinese culture and society through an interactive presentation. The event attracted a large number of students interested in international cooperation and intercultural exchange.
During the lecture, participants learned about the basic principles of Chinese etiquette, appropriate behavior in both formal and informal settings, and the importance of respecting tradition in Chinese society. The lecturer also discussed cultural differences between Europe and China, emphasizing the importance of openness to other cultures in today’s globalized world.
