The YUFE Alliance is once again marking Europe Day with a rich YUFE Academy program! Throughout May and June, a series of lectures, workshops, and events open to all interested participants awaits you.
- On Tuesday, 12 May at 12:00, you can attend the online lecture in English titled Political Transformations: Undoing Autocracy. Recently, we have witnessed increasingly intense political upheavals on a global level that may affect citizens’ lives and gradually threaten democracy. An introduction to this highly relevant topic will be given by the micro-qualification program coordinator, Associate Professor Tena Prelec, while participants will present the results of their three-month work and the insights they gained by examining empirical cases of autocratization and the possibilities for political transformation. - On Tuesday, 19 May 19 at 14:00, the online event in English titled Young Scientists on a Social Mission – Tackling urban challenges and opportunities will bring together young YUFE researchers who will present how their research work can contribute to solving environmental and social challenges. - On Tuesday, 9 June at 12:00, join the webinar Multilingualism on the workfloor and the GenAI era about the importance of language skills, communication abilities, and intercultural awareness in the age of generative artificial intelligence, as well as the role of multilingualism in the corporate world as AI takes over more and more tasks.
